Is this training legally valid under the POSH Act?

Yes. Our training content is fully aligned with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and the Supreme Court's Vishaka Guidelines of 1997. The Act does not mandate a specific trainer or format — any organization can provide training, and our completion certificates serve as valid proof of compliance.

What are the penalties for not being POSH compliant?

Non-compliance carries a fine of up to ₹50,000 for the first offence under Section 26 of the Act. For repeat offences, the penalty doubles and may include cancellation of business registration or license. Every company with 10 or more employees must constitute an ICC, conduct awareness programs, and provide a safe workplace.

Who needs to take this training?

Under Section 19(c), every employer with 10 or more employees must organize workshops and awareness programs at regular intervals for ALL employees — regular, contractual, temporary, and interns. IC members also need specialized orientation on complaint handling procedures.

Is online/e-learning POSH training valid?

Yes. The POSH Act requires employers to conduct 'workshops and awareness programmes' but does not mandate any specific format — in-person, online, or blended. Our interactive e-learning platform meets this requirement with verifiable certificates as proof.

What certificate do employees get?

Upon completing the training and passing the quiz (70% score required), employees receive a digitally verifiable completion certificate with a unique certificate number. Employees who don't pass can retake the quiz unlimited times. Companies can use these certificates as compliance documentation during audits.

Is the training available in Hindi?

Yes. All training modules, scenarios, and quizzes are available in both English and Hindi. Employees can switch languages anytime during training using the language toggle.

How long does the training take?

The complete training across all 6 modules takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Employees can pause and resume at any time — their progress is saved automatically.

How is complaint data kept confidential?

Section 16 of the POSH Act mandates strict confidentiality of complaint proceedings. All complaint data on WorkRight is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to ICC members and company admins only. Complainant identity is never exposed without authorization.

What happens after 1 year?

Your subscription renews annually. We recommend conducting refresher training every year for existing employees and mandatory training for all new joiners. If you choose not to renew, existing certificates remain valid and downloadable. Complaint records are retained per legal requirements.

Can we use this for ICC management?

Yes. The platform includes a complete ICC workflow — member management with role designation (Presiding Officer, Member, External Member), complaint filing within the 3-month deadline, inquiry tracking with 90-day deadlines, timeline documentation, and annual report generation as required under Section 21 of the POSH Act.

Does this apply to factory workers and field staff?

Yes. The POSH Act applies to ALL workplaces — offices, factories, construction sites, field locations, and even the unorganized sector. Every woman employee is covered regardless of whether she is regular, temporary, contractual, or daily wage. The workplace definition extends to client sites and work-related travel.

Is the POSH Act only for women?

The POSH Act 2013 specifically protects women — only an aggrieved woman can file a complaint under this Act. However, the training is mandatory for all employees (men and women) so everyone understands what constitutes harassment and how to prevent it. Men facing harassment can seek remedies under IPC Section 354A or company internal policies.

Do you provide the External Member for our ICC?

Not directly. However, the platform allows you to register an external member and manage their involvement in the ICC process. We maintain a directory of qualified external members and NGOs that you can reach out to independently.
